When the jaw crusher works, the material may be returned: the material is not squeezed by the movable jaw plate and fixed jaw plate, but squeezed out of the feed inlet. This situation will not only reduce production efficiency, but also cause harm to human body. This paper mainly shares the reasons and solutions for the return of jaw crusher. Reasons for material return of jaw fracture:

1. Problems of jaw crusher

The parts of the new jaw crusher are inconsistent with the drawing dimensions, such as the length and thickness of the jaw plate, the length and angle of the elbow plate, and the size of the inner cavity of the frame, resulting in inferior products; After being used for a long time, the included angle of the two jaw plates is greater than twice the friction angle, so that sufficient friction cannot be generated between the material and the jaw plate to overcome the upward component of the crushing force, and the material is extruded under the action of the vertical upward force and slides towards the feed inlet.

2. Material stress is unbalanced

The force of the material to be broken in the vertical direction of the crushing chamber is easy to be unbalanced, and it is easy to return the material under the action of the upward component.

3. The width of the discharge port is larger than that of the jaw crusher of Datong I specification. The larger the width of the discharge port is, the easier it is to return the material. During the crushing process, the material is in direct contact with the jaw plate, resulting in friction. The more serious the wear of the jaw plate, the greater the possibility of material return.

4. The size difference of materials to be broken is too large

When the size of the materials to be broken by the crusher varies greatly, it is easy to return the materials.

Solution for returning materials of jaw fracture

1. Use crushers of appropriate specifications according to the material conditions.

2. When the jaw plate is worn and returns materials, it shall be repaired or replaced in time.

3. When the particle size difference of materials is too large, it is necessary to filter first; The coarse jaw crusher is used for pre-processing, and then the fine jaw crusher is used for finish processing, which can ensure the processing requirements of materials.

4. A wedge-shaped backing plate is added at the joint surface of the moving jaw and the movable jaw plate to reduce the included angle of the two jaw plates, make it meet the friction angle that the included angle of the two jaw plates is less than twice, and eliminate the return phenomenon.

5. The guard plate can be welded above the feed inlet to prevent materials from flying out of the feed inlet and endangering the personal protection of the operator.

Working Principle

The crushing mode of jaw crusher is curved extrusion type, and the operation principle is to simulate the movement of two jaws of animals. During operation, the motor drives the belt and pulley to move the moving jaw up and down through the eccentric shaft. When the moving jaw rises, the included angle between the elbow plate and the moving jaw becomes larger, so as to push the moving jaw plate close to the fixed jaw plate. The materials are crushed multiple times through extrusion, rubbing and grinding between the two jaw plates; When the movable jaw goes down, the included angle between the elbow plate and the movable jaw becomes smaller, the movable jaw plate leaves the fixed jaw plate under the action of the pull rod and spring, and the crushed materials are discharged freely through the discharge port at the lower part of the jaw cavity under the action of gravity. With the continuous rotation of the motor, the moving jaw makes periodic crushing and discharging to realize mass production.
