The dry powder briquetting machine is mainly used for ball making of non-ferrous and ferrous metal ore powder, directly into the furnace for smelting, and increase the added value. All waste materials in the metallurgical industry and auxiliary materials that need to be loaded into the furnace need to be completed by a ball press. For example: dust removal ash, pool mud, oxide scale, steel slag, iron powder, aluminum ash powder, silicomanganese ore powder, etc. Mainly used for fast ball making of non-ferrous and ferrous metal ore powder, directly into the furnace for smelting, to increase added value. 1. The materials that need to be molded are of relatively large fineness, and water cannot be added, and must be dry pressed.

2. High power and low speed. The average speed of the dry powder briquetting machine is not higher than 10 revolutions per minute. For the same output, the required power is often very large, usually more than 5 times the power of the briquette briquetting machine.

3. Hydraulic jacking and dry powder ball presses have a huge load, and ordinary mechanical jacking pairs of rollers can no longer meet the needs, so hydraulic jacking devices are required to automatically compensate pressure according to needs.

4. Roll skin treatment. Due to the high pressure of ball formation and the special materials, the core component of the dry powder ball press is not to use ordinary cast steel, but to use alloy steel forging, and then overall quenching for heat treatment. The hardness of the roller skin is basically close to the hardness of the bearing steel to meet the system requirements.

Working Principle

 There are three stages in the process of pressing the ball from powder to block: the pre-pressing stage, the pressurizing stage, and the demolding stage.

    1. The pre-compression stage is the process of allowing the pre-compressor to pre-compress the material.
    2. The pressurization stage is the process of forcing the pre-pressurized material to be suppressed (also called re-exhausting) until the mold is completely closed and the maximum pressure is reached.
    3. The demolding stage is to close the mold after the pressure is reached, and then release the clamping force when the mold is closed. Under the action of the centrifugal force of the roller speed and the weight of the pellet, the ball blank completes the automatic demolding process.
